Andong

When they could, the folks of LIKE would set up trips for us Weaguken (foreign) folks so we could see more of Korea. One such trip was my second visit to Gyeongju with a bus load of LIKE people. This time it was a smaller group, Mr. Kim's son, Heedal, invited me and Jeff to go to Andong with him and his girlfriend. Andong is a small town with a Folk Village (Haweay-mul I believe is its name) nearby. And so the four of us checked it out. Heedal's girlfriend didnt speak much english, but she was nice and we had a great time. Heedal had a camera and snapped some cool pics of our trip. Haweay-mul was nice, traditional (accept for the satalite dishes I caught glimpses of in some houses) and very interesting. What was surprising was the museam set up showing Queen Elizabeth's visit to the folk village, I didnt expect that!... he he he... By now you should know the drill, click a thumbnail to bring up the full pic.
