Donghwasa Temple

In our last weekend in Korea me and Jeff had managed to go to Apsan, Gyeongju and then on our last day we went back to the Palgonsan to visit the Donghwasa Temple. Donghwasa boasts the largest Buddha statue in Korea. It was a nice trip, we went with Hyang-lan and Hye. When we got to the temple we met another Like teacher who volunteers on weekends to guide visitors through the temple, so she walked us through. I'm not sure if it is a Canadian trait, an X-man trait or just a sense of humor that me and Jeff happen to share, but we tend to appreciate things by joking around. I am not sure our guide appreciated it, but oh well... it was our last day of sightseeing in Korea and we were having a great time. Donghwasa was impressive, but it had that touristy feel to it. I enjoyed Gatbawi and Yakcheonsa much more.

1: Three of a kind. 2: Hye and a Temple/Monastery (shhh...). 3: Temple Markings.

1: yeah, the "do not touch" sign should have been on the front. 2: Bamboo & Blossoms. 3: Donghwasa.

1: Biggest Buddha Statue in Korea. 2: More Buddha or Bodisatvas in vigil around the Statue.
