Friends

I must admit that I was damn lucky in my trip to Korea. Not only did I meet and make new friends but I had good University friends already there as well as coming out there with me. I had a lot of help adjusting to the new culture and all the folks at LIKE worked hard to make me feel welcome. First I have to give a thank you to Troy, my old university bud, for setting me up in Korea in the first place. I would not have had this adventure if not for him. And a thank you also to Jeff, another university bud of mine, who came out to Korea at the same time as me, you were a great friend to adventure with dude. I have to give a big shout out thank you to Scott Kim who worked hard to make sure any problems (job, apartment, health, money, travel, etc) I had (even after I arrived home) got solved ASAP! Another thanks has to go to Kim Heedal for inviting me and Jeff out to Andong with him and his girlfriend, it was a great trip! Yet another thanks has to go out to Mr. and Mrs. Kim for their hospitality at LIKE as well as their homes on Jejudo when me and Jeff went to visit Korea's Own Paradise Island. Another thanks goes out to Craig who was my neighbour and helped me out a lot when I first got to Korea, showing me around the neighbourhood and where to eat, what to eat, how to eat it and how to order it. One more thanks goes out to Hyang-lan and Hye Teachers for being excellent RPGers, I had a lot of fun! Yes, another thanks, this time to Carrie who was the crazy queen of the dance floor, I hope your still having a great time out there. A final and BIG thanks has to go out to Ji-hye (who's picture is not here because I have not yet scanned it, but her pic is in the Like section) for being the best student I have ever had the pleasure of teaching! To everyone: I had a great time and I look forward to getting back to Korea to visit some day soon.
