Working for LIKE (Languages Institute Kim Enterprises) was a great experience. It was the first job I ever had that didn't feel like a "job" in that I enjoyed teaching every day. Kids will be kids and so not every single class was a walk in the park, but for the most part I had a lot of fun teaching the kids and they had a lot of fun while I was teaching. Short days, good paycheck, lots of free time, not really much to complain about. I have heard a lot of stories from other Canadians who also went out to Korea to teach, some good and some very bad. I was lucky, I had a friend who was able to set me up with a great job with a great company, I recommend some serious research into any company your thinking of working for if your going out to Korea. I also recommend LIKE to anyone who is itching to get out to Korea and experience it. If you want more information on LIKE, click HERE. Down below I have some picture and a couple .avi movies I took of my kids before I left. Click on the thumbnails to view the full pic or download the .avi.
